Celebrate Disability Pride with lots of Compass Card offers

Disability Pride 2018 is from 11.30am to 7pm on Sunday 14 July on Hove Lawns and the Compass Team at Amaze is celebrating with six unmissable, time-limited Compass Card offers from our lovely Compass Card Partners. Catch them while you can! You can see more information about each of these organisations on our free Compass Card app and on the Compass website offer page. https://www.compasscard.org.uk/compass-card-offers/

Here’s what’s on offer:

  • Capitol in Horsham offers free tickets to all ‘Blue Oasis’ screenings throughout July
The Capitol in Horsham has three ‘Blue Oasis’ screenings every month for people with Autism or special needs and throughout July they will be giving Compass Card holders two free tickets to any of these screenings – so you could go to all three if you wanted to!  We’ll be able to confirm dates and movies a little closer to the time. You need to book in person at the Box Office showing the Compass Card, or over the ‘phone on 01403 750220.  If you book over the ‘phone, make sure you take your Compass Card with you when you collect your tickets to validate the free offer. The Box Office opens at 9.45am (except Sundays when it opens 30 minutes before the first film) and closes at 8pm. Phone lines close at 7pm. You can find out more about screening times and films at www.thecapitolhorsham.com
  • A 30% discount for Compass Card parties booked at Brighton Table Tennis Club during July
Enjoy a party booking for between six and 16 people for £70 instead of £100 at BTTC’s premises at the Fitzherbert Centre, 36 Upper Bedford Street, Brighton BN2 1JP. Suitable for 7 to 25 year olds, the club will provide two experienced coaches and there’s a small kitchen so you can serve your own food. The building is fully accessible and you just need to book the party in July 2018 to be eligible for the special discount; the party itself can take place at any time. Call 01273 670145 or email info@brightontabletennisclub.com to book. You can find out more about Brighton Table Tennis Club here www.brightontabletennisclub.co.uk
  • Duke of York’s cinema offers extra discount when you book in person for screenings from Monday 9 to Saturday 14 July
The Duke of York’s cinema at Preston Circus in Brighton is offering a concessionary ticket when you book in person at the cinema Box Office quoting ‘Disability Pride’. The offer applies to any general screening at the cinema from Monday 9 to Saturday 7 July 2018. The concessionary ticket, which is usually around £3 less than a full price ticket, is in addition to the usual Compass Card offer of a free carer ticket at the Duke of York’s (or if the Compass Card holder is 15 or over, a free ticket for a friend). Please note, the offer doesn’t apply to Autism-friendly or Kids Club screenings, which are already subsidised, or to screenings at the Duke’s at Komedia cinema. You’ll need to book in person; the Box Office at the Duke of York’s opens 30 minutes before the first screening of the day and closes when the last screening of the day starts. See www.picturehouses.com/cinema/Duke_of_Yorks for more info on films and screening times.
