Slater and Gordon

Slater and Gordon are leading specialists at providing support to children, young people and their loved ones impacted by disabilities. Amaze has now partnered with Slater and Gordon to help sustain and develop its much-needed services, with the law firm providing funding towards our parent and carer support groups.

Nisha Sharma, Principal Lawyer from Slater and Gordon says:

The wide-ranging support Amaze delivers is much needed and greatly appreciated by growing numbers of families. Its parent and carer groups can be a real lifeline for many, and the peer support and opportunities to meet with people who face the same challenges and who truly understand your situation is invaluable. We are really pleased to partner with Amaze, and support them in their vital work.

Paula Rosa Manhattan

We are delighted to have been chosen as the charity of the year for Paula Rosa Manhattan, a national kitchen design and manufacturing company, with a factory in Sussex.  As well as organising various fundraising activities, intrepid members of staff also treked up Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon for us! Jennifer from Paula Rosa Manhattan said:

‘There were several charities nominated, which representatives from the company forum and senior leadership team reviewed, finally choosing Amaze due to their locality, link to our employees and that their vision fits with our sustainability aims for community, diversity, and inclusion. Amaze continue to help a number of our employees and their children, which makes any fundraising personal and with a positive impact close to our home.’

Hopscotch

Hopscotch have chosen Amaze as their charity of the year, hosting fundraising activities for Amaze throughout the year and sponsoring our firewalk. Laura from Hopscotch said:

‘We chose Amaze as our Charity of the Year as like us it’s Sussex based, and has family and children at the heart of everything it does. It was voted for by our staff members and is seen as a great resource, supporting the Hopscotch community.  This year is our biggest year of events, designed to bring our families together and to raise money for this fantastic charity. We’ve had a beach clean along Brighton seafront and an Olympics which saw 200 toddlers hop, skip and jump their way into raising over £300 for Amaze. We’ve got a Hopscotch Fire Walk team who are prepared to take on the Fire Walk challenge in November and a big art exhibition where every Hopscotch child becomes an artist to round off the year. We’re excited for our partnership with Amaze and for the events and challenges ahead of us.’

Anderson Acoustics

Anderson Acoustics made a charitable donation to Amaze after a recommendation from a member of staff who had used Amaze’s services. Jacqui from Anderson Acoustics said:

‘What a wonderful opportunity we have as employee owners to recommend how we can utilise a percentage of our profit share and invest back in to the community in this way and for causes that are so dear to us. This charity is so important to me and the work they do is, as their name suggests, amazing and so vital for the hundreds of families and children who they support.’

Knights plc Brighton

As well as fundraising for Amaze, staff have given their time as part of the Knights plc community volunteering programme, which gives staff a set number of hours per month to support a cause that is important to them.
