From calls to our advice line, we know that families need more information about home education.
To answer some of your initial questions, our SENDIASS team has created three fact sheets on:

The fact sheets explain the differences between education other than at school (EOTAS) and elective home education (EHE), including the legal differences. We also summarise what parent carers need to know about home education for children with SEND, whether they have an education, health and care (EHC) plan or not.
