By Bus – The nearest routes that stop at this sculpture will be 1, 1X, 2, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 29A, 46, 77 and 270 at the ‘Churchill Square’ stop.

By Train – If you’re arriving via train, the nearest station will be Brighton. This is an 850-metre distance from the sculpture and around a 13-minute journey. There is a step-free accessible route via Queen’s Road (be mindful of a notable hill leading up towards the station):

• Use Queens Road to get to Air Street, which can you use to cut across to your right (past The Quadrant pub).
• Use the accessible crossing at the corner of North Street and Western Road.
• This will allow you to access Churchill Square. There are main, accessible doors by Urban Outfitters and another by TG Jones.

There are Sheffield racks next to the Beryl Bay for you to lock up your personal bike.

The nearest Blue Badge on-street parking bays will be on Cannon Place. There also a few disabled bays at the top of Queens Square. Please note that there is a slight hill on Queens Square leading up to these spots. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force.

Noise levels – 6-7/10

This location can be quite noisy at peak times, with notable crowds. Churchill Square is accessible with lifts available.

The nearest public toilets with male, female, and disabled access can be found in Churchill Square shopping centre itself. These are located on the upper level, accessible via lift, and near the food court.

There is also a changing place located directly in the shopping centre. This can be found between Clarks and Pandora and includes a height-adjustable adult changing bench, a ceiling hoist, a peninsular toilet, an accessible shower, and a height-adjustable washbasin. This can be opened by Churchill Square staff.

This BookBench is a design full of character, showing several cats lounging on the bench that is painted as a sofa. There are books, some knitting, balls of yarn, and a glass of spilt milk amongst the cats. On the back of the bench can be seen a mouse nibbling on a biscuit. All of the books have names that are cat puns, such as ‘The Great Catsby.’ The sofa is yellow and pink with a stripy green for the wallpaper behind it.
