The sculptures will be placed inside the entrance to the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. The sculpture’s location is within the North-West corner of the Pavilion Gardens and is a relatively flat surface with wide paths. Please note that although the gardens are wheelchair friendly, the surface of the pavement is made of small stones, so be aware that it may not be the smoothest surface at times.

Entrances –

• The arched entrance to the gardens when entering from Church Street sometimes has a gate across it. However, when this gate is not in place, this is the most accessible entrance. At other times, use the entrance a few metres along to the left, where you can then turn right and follow the path towards Brighton Museum entrance to find the sculpture.
• Likewise, there is another entrance from Princes Place. Going towards Princes Place towards Regent House, you will find two paths leading into the gardens. Both rejoin into one flat surfaced path that cuts through the middle of the gardens directly towards the sculpture. Please note that this path is slightly narrow, so people coming the other way may struggle to get past if you are using a wheelchair.
• Two more entrances lead off from New Road, opposite Wahaca and the Theatre Royal. By following these paths past the café and towards the Pavilion, you can turn left and follow the path towards the Museum to find the sculpture.

All Brighton & Hove buses are fully accessible. The nearest bus stop to the sculpture’s location will be the Royal Pavilion Stop R2, where the 21 and the 22 stop. This bus stop is around a 2-minute journey. The 22 will be coming from Woodingdean/Racecourse, and you can get on at this stop to head partly down London Road, The Level and back towards Woodingdean. The 21 will go from Marina, through Whitehawk, The Level, Brighton and Hove, and towards Goldstone Valley. Likewise, North Street has numerous buses running all day (get full list) and is a 4-minute journey from the location.

Local and national trains are available from Brighton station. All platforms and trains are accessible with ramps and extra support available at request. There are also accessible ticket barriers.

The nearest Beryl Bay will be on Church Street, opposite the Brighton Dome. There is also a nearby bay by Pavilion Buildings, next to Al Duomo.

The nearest personal bicycle parking spaces are on New Street near Mash Tun.

Noise Level – 3/10 with highs of 6/10 in summer.

As the sculptures are in Brighton Museum, expect some crowds during weekends and school holidays. Be particularly aware of sudden sirens and traffic from the surrounding roads.

The nearest Blue Badge on-street parking will be on Jubilee Street, a short 300-metre distance from the sculpture. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force. You can also park for free and for an unlimited time in Pay and Display bays.

There are public toilets at the entrance to the Pavilion Gardens by Princes Place. These are male, female, and disabled toilets open to the public from 10am until 6pm.

The nearest changing place facilities are in the Jubilee Library, a 4-minute journey across a 350-metre distance. Includes a height-adjustable changing bench, a peninsular toilet, and a ceiling hoist. These can be accessed via New Road and Jubilee Street, where the library is located next to Pizza Express.
