Accessibility

Accessing the sculpture

The sculpture will be situated directly in the entrance to Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre. You can find the entrance from a road which leads off Moulsecoomb Way.

The paving by the entrance is flat and in good condition.

Public transport

Buses: The nearest bus stop is Moulsecoomb Way where you can get the 3X, 23, 24, 25, Regency 28, Regency 29, 29A, 29B, 74, 75, Breeze 78, N25, N29 and N48.

 

Trains: Local trains are available from Moulsecoomb station. This is a 1.2km walk along a busy road (Lewes Road). Please note that this station has a bridge with stairs connecting the two platforms, meaning that for step-free access you’ll have to use Queensdown School Road to go around to the other platform. Part of this road has limited pavement.

 

Bikes: The nearest Beryl Bay to the sculpture is Moulsecoomb Way.

There are cycle racks outside the centre.

What to expect from the location

Noise Levels – 4/10.

Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre is a leisure centre, so expect that it may be busy and noisy, particularly when there are classes and activity. Later in the evenings it may be quieter.

Parking

Directly outside Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre.

The nearest Blue Badge parking bay is outside the entrance. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force.

Facilities

The nearest public toilets will be within the Leisure Centre.

The nearest changing place will be at Preston Park nearly 4km away. We recommend using local bus services to access this Changing place toilet.
