The sculpture will be located a few yeards from the peace statue on the concrete before the lawn. It can best be accessed via the King Charles III England Coastal Path. This is an accessible, step-free path that goes along the length of the coast.

By Bus- The nearest routes that stop at this sculpture will be the 1, 2, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 46, 49 and 700 at the ‘Norfolk Square’ stop on Western Road. Please note there is a short distance from the stop to the sculpture.

By Train Station – If you’re arriving via train, the nearest station will be Hove. There is a step-free, accessible route via Cromwell Road. This is around a 32-minute journey across a 2.4km distance and may not be an accessible distance for some people:

• Head right onto The Drive, (please note this is on a slight downwards hill towards the sea).
• Right onto Kingsway
• Turn right to get to the sculpture.

Trains: Local and national trains are available from Hove station. All platforms and trains are accessible with ramps and extra support available at request. There are also accessible ticket barriers.

Bikes: The nearest Beryl Bay will be outside the statue itself, a few yards away from the sculpture.

There are bike racks for you to lock up your personal bike around 200 metres away from the statue.

Noise Levels – 3/10.

The Hove seafront is a much quieter location than central Brighton, so expect less crowds than you would further towards Brighton pier. Please note that it is along a busier road so there may be sudden sirens and horns. Please also be aware of cyclists along this coastal path.

The nearest Blue Badge on-street parking bay will be along Kingsway. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force.

The nearest general public toilets will be in Shelter Hall. It is 900 metres away, and around a 12-minute journey. These are male, female, and disabled access.

One of the nearest accessible changing place toilets will also be in the Shelter Hall. It is open from 9am until 6pm and includes a height adjustable wall mounted bench with an alarm, privacy screen, shower, colostomy shelf, ceiling hoist and loop hoist, and a height adjustable wash basin.

This BookBench has a vibrant and colourful design of a sun reading a book on the front. The style is graphic, cartoonish and bold with a 60’s feel. The words, Tell Me A Story, sit above the sun character, with smiling flowers situated at the bottom of the bench. The back of the bench has the words We All Have A Story To Tell in a soft pink speech bubble, framed by two orange birds and a heart in the same style. The bench has an overall blue background with streaks of colour also prominent.
