The sculpture will be located along the seafront on Madeira Drive by the Sea Lanes. This is an accessible location with a smooth, wide pavement for pedestrians and wheelchair users to be alongside each other. This path can be accessed via a slope by the palace pier and is a flat path the entire way.

By Bus- The nearest routes that will be stopping at this sculpture will be the 12, 14, 27, 271 and 272 at the ‘Burlington Street’ stop.

By Train – If you’re arriving via train, the nearest station will be Brighton. Please note that this over half an hour journey on foot.

• Step-free accessible route – via Trafalgar Street (please note Trafalgar Street is on a significant hill).
• Turn right onto St George’s Place at the end of Trafalgar Street. From here you can carry on travelling South, past Old Steine.
• Use the ramp down to the lower promenade and Madeira Drive by Sea Life.
• There are accessible crossings along the way.

Trains: Local and national trains are available from Brighton station. All platforms and trains are accessible with ramps and extra support available at request. There are also accessible ticket barriers.

Bikes: The nearest Beryl Bay will be Madeira Drive, to the East of Yellowave. This is around a 200-metre distance from the sculpture.

There are several Sheffield racks outside the children’s playground, around a 200-metre distance from the sculpture, where you can lock up your personal bike.

Madeira Drive tends to be a relatively quiet stretch of road, but please note that there may still be sudden sirens and horns from the surrounding roads. There are a few cafes and bars dotted along this stretch of road, including facilities in Sea Lanes itself.

There are dedicated cycle lanes across the entirety of this stretch of road, but please be mindful of cyclists nearby/on pavements.

There are Blue Badge on-street parking options along Madeira Drive, as well as along Marina Parade but bear in mind that many of the residential spots are mainly permit only. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force. You can also pay for free and for an unlimited time in Pay and Display bays.

The nearest general public toilets will be around 150-metres West of the sculpture by the Peter Pan playground. These include male, female, and disabled access facilities.

The nearest changing place will be The Colonnade. You can find this amongst a row of small cafes and shops. This will be open from 9am until 6pm and includes an adult sized free-standing bench which is height adjustable, ceiling hoist, peninsular toilet and height adjustable washbasin. This is around a 900-metres West to the sculpture by the palace pier, and around a 12-minute journey.
