The sculpture will be situated in Hove Library. The entrance to Hove Library is on Church Road.

The street does largely have wide pavements, with some restrictions at points due to cafes/bars having tables out. There are accessible crossings and drop kerbs by the entrance. Hove Library has a slight ramp to enter.

Buses: The nearest available routes will be the 1/1X, 6, 49, 71, 71A, 93, 95 and 96 from the Church Road stops in Hove.

Trains: Local and national trains are available from Hove station. All platforms and trains are accessible with ramps and extra support available at request. There are also accessible ticket barriers.

There is a step-free accessible route via Goldstone Villas. This is around a 15-minute journey across a 950-metre distance:

• Head straight down Goldstone villas, directly ahead of you as you exit the station via the South entrance.
• From here you can use the accessible crossing to cross onto George Street
• At the end of George Street, turn right onto church road and cross at the next available crossing

Bikes: The nearest Beryl Bay to the sculpture will be on Church Road, outside Tesco.

There are Sheffield racks outside Hove Library itself for you to lock up your personal bike.

Hove Library is generally a quiet library.

There may be crowds and nearby noise from traffic, including sudden sirens and horns, but shouldn’t be an excessively busy place.

Tesco Car Park. 150 metre distance, around a 3-minute journey.

• • Blue Badge holders get two hours free parking if they register their vehicles at the desk.
  • 30-minutes free parking, or up to two hours if you spend £5 in store.

Norton Road Car Park. 450 metre distance, around a 8-minute journey.

• • There is a step-free accessible route via Church Road:
    • Turn right out of the car park onto Norton Road.
    • Make a right again onto Church Road
  • Blue Badge holders can park for free.
  • Some specific disabled bays, but all bays are widened to accept wheelchair access.
  • From £1.60 for an hour, up to £11 for 12 hours.

The nearest Blue Badge on-street parking bay will be on Church Road, outside St Andrews Church. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force.

The nearest public toilets will be within Hove Library.

The nearest changing place will be at Rockwater. This is a 900m distance and roughly a 15-minute journey. There is a step-free accessible route via Seafield Road:

• Use the drop kerb to cross Kingsway (there is a pedestrian crossing with lights opposite Essex House flats).
• Head a bit further down this road before turning left, which will take you onto the lower promenade (by Yellowave).
• Rockwater will be on your right a few yards down.
