This sculpture is inside the Prince Regent Swimming Complex. The entrance is on Barack Yard. The area has a smooth surface and is a wide, expansive space, ideal for wheelchair users.  There are dropped kerbs at the top of Jubilee Street, opposite Wagamama if you are entering via Jubilee Square.

Please note that there is a slight hill going down Jubilee Street towards Jubilee Square. The pavement also has a small step onto the road as you go down the street, so be aware that if you are in a wheelchair, it’ll be better to cross at the top corners (where Jubilee meets North Road). There is also a dropped kerb opposite the square and Rudy’s (by the disabled parking bays), but please be aware of the cycling lane when crossing.

Buses: The nearest bus stop is Withdean Sports Complex. More frequent bus routes serve Tongdean Lane East (5, 5A, 17, 270) and Tongdean Lane West (27, 77).

Trains: Local and national trains are available from Preston Park station. This is a 1.4km walk along a busy road (London Road).All platforms and trains are accessible with ramps and extra support available at request. There are also accessible ticket barriers.

Bikes: The nearest Beryl Bay to the sculpture is Withdean Sports Complez.

There are cycle racks outside the centre.

Noise Levels – 4/10.

Prince Regent is a leisure centre, so expect that it may be busy and noisy, particularly when there are classes and activity. Later in the evenings it may be quieter.

The nearest on-street Blue Badge parking will be opposite Jubilee Square and adjacent to Las Iguanas. You can park here for three hours. Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force. You can also pay for free and for an unlimited time in Pay and Display bays.

The nearest public toilets to the sculpture location will be within the centre. These toilets are male and female, fully accessible with baby changing facilities.

There is also an adult changing place toilet at Jubilee Library. This includes an adjustable changing bench, ceiling hoist, peninsular toilet, and height-adjustable washbasin.
