The sculpture can be found on the left-hand side of Queens Road when facing towards the sea, around 350m from Brighton Station. The sculpture is inside, in the window of Community Base just past the reception entrance.

Buses: the nearest bus stop is outside community base. Served by the 1, 5B, 6, 7, 12, 14, 27, 27C, 46, 47, 52, 55, 59, 77

Trains: Local and national trains are available from Brighton station. All platforms and trains are accessible with ramps and extra support available at request. There are also accessible ticket barriers.  If you’re arriving from the station, the sculpture is a short 350m distance down Queens Road from the Queens Road station exit.

• Keeping to the left of the road (on the side of Budgens), the sculpture will be on your left past the junction of North Road and Queens Road.
• Please note that this is a downwards slope. The pavement is wide with a smooth surface.

Bikes: The nearest Beryl Bay will be Upper Gloucester Road, adjacent to Vudu Food. This can be accessed via the accessible crossing opposite Vudu.

The nearest place to lock up your own bike will be on the Sheffield stands outside Community Base.

Noise Levels – 5/10

As Queens Road is one of the busier roads in Brighton, please be aware that it may be quite noisy. If the weather is warm, this will be one of the busiest roads as people make their way down to the beach. Noise from nearby traffic, including sirens and horns, may also be quite loud in this area.

However, as this sculpture is inside, it won’t be as loud.

Pavements are wide around the sculpture, and the crossings are accessible, but be prepared for crowds.

The nearest on-street Blue Badge parking space will be on Gardener Street. It is 300 metres away from the location, and around a 4-minute journey. Please note there is a slight hill going towards Queens Road.

Alternatively, you can use a Blue Badge on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours as long as no loading restrictions are in force. You can also pay for free and for an unlimited time in Pay and Display bays.

The nearest public toilets will be in Brighton Station. These are male, female, and disabled toilets.

A changing place is also available on the east end of the concourse in the station, towards Pret a Manger. A RADAR key is required, or staff are available to help access this on request. This includes a height-adjustable changing bench, a ceiling hoist, a height-adjustable washbasin, and non-slip flooring.
