What?

Borde Hill Garden is an English Heritage Grade II* garden, set in 383 acres of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with spectacular views over the Sussex Weald and the Ouse Valley Viaduct. The 17 acres of garden are designed in a series of outdoor ‘rooms’, each with its own distinctive character, colour and scent. Borde Hill holds several exciting events throughout the open season, with an additional charge of £4 for family trails during the school holidays.
General provision: One carer is admitted free of charge for all visitors with SEND.
Compass Card offer: Compass Card holders pay £6 admission fee (usual price is £8.95 for children and £13.95 for adults).  The Compass Card will also trigger the free carer ticket
Accessibility: Accessible parking in the main car park and accessible toilets. The majority of the formal garden is accessible to those with restricted mobility. Gentle slopes with hard surfaces allow wheelchair access. A ‘mobility map’ is available to show access around the gardens. There are plenty of benches located around the Garden for relaxing and taking in the sights should you want to stop for a rest. The Parkland and Woodland have naturally uneven terrain making them unsuitable for wheelchairs.
