Free family fun day for East Sussex families
The day will run from 11am to 2pm and, as well as some scheduled activities, there will be lots of fun stuff you can get involved in throughout the day:
- Meet and have your photo taken with Peppa Pig
- Get active with the team from Defiant Sports
- Make some cool badges with our Amazing Futures team
- Have your face painted or choose a fun Henna tattoo instead
- Do something arty with the fabulous team from Sussex Contemporary Illustrators and Printmakers (SCIP)
Timetabled activities
- 11am to 1pm – join World of Wheels Club for an exhilarating play experience for toddlers and children who love things that spin. Expect Hot Wheels City, Hot Wheels Raceways, Glow Tracks, and Ride-ons.
- 1 to 2pm – family favourite Animazing will run a session introducing you to a whole host of animals. But, make sure you keep an eye out for the naughty toad!
Free parking is available in the on-site car park and there is an adjacent car park as well as street parking. Light snacks will be provided but do bring a packed lunch if you would like to. The building is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets.
Please note, parent carers are responsible for their children and young people at all times.
An Amaze SEND adviser will be on hand for any parents that would like a one-to-one chat about anything SEND related.
Our Amazing Futures team will be offering activities specifically for 14 to 25 year olds. There’s also the opportunity to meet the team and find out about all our local youth groups and the Amazing Future activities on offer.
How to book
To book, please email Parent Groups and Befriending at [email protected] with the following information:
- your full name
- your contact telephone number
- the town/village you live in
- the age and gender of the child or young person with SEND
- the age and gender of any siblings attending
- how many adults will be attending.
This fun day is for East Sussex families, as it is funded by the East Sussex Short Breaks service. We’ll be running a fun day for Brighton & Hove families in the summer.
