Colour-in BookBench unveilling
Amaze, your local charity supporting families with disabled children, has partnered with Wild In Art to bring you The Story Trail—a free, fun and family-friendly adventure.
Between 12 September and 8 November 2026, you can explore a city-wide gallery of more than 30 BookBenches. Each one is an open book, designed by a talented local artist and waiting to be discovered.
As part of The Story Trail, The Book Nook will be hosting two BookBenches. We’re inviting you to an unveilling of the first of these BookBenches, which will be inside the Book Nook from 20 August to 8 November.
Designed by beloved children’s book illustrators, you will be able to colour in recognisable characters on this special BookBench. So get your creative juices flowing, and join us for this exciting event.
The Mayor of Brighton and Hove Cllr Theresa Fowler will be joining us for this event. You will also be able to meet some of the artists behind the design.
