Uckfield parent support group

For parents of children and young people with SEND in East Sussex.

Join us in person and meet other parent carers in your area for a cuppa, cake and chat. These groups are intended as a special space for parent carers only; the parent group and befriending service also offer WhatsApp and virtual groups for parents who can’t come to the Cuppa, Cake & Chats, for example if you don’t have any childcare.

This group will sometimes have an emphasis on children or young people with a neurodevelopmental condition, such as ASC, ADHD or dyslexia.

Refreshments are provided.

PMLD/Complex Health Needs coffee morning – Eastbourne

This termly coffee morning in Eastbourne is for parent carers who have children and young people with complex health needs and/or profound learning disabilities, providing a social opportunity for parent carers to come together to share experiences and build a supportive community.
Whilst we don’t provide activities for your child or young person, they are very welcome to attend with you – we just advise you to bring along some toys or activities for them to do.

NB: The venue is accessible but there are no accessible changing facilities. Free parking is available.
