What?
Withdean Sports Complex, owned by Brighton & Hove City Council and operated by Freedom Leisure, has a modern athletics and football stadium, plus tennis and squash courts, fitness classes and a well-equipped, high standard gym.
Compass Card offer: ‘Junior Health & Fitness’ – after your induction, which will cost £16.25, supervised sessions for 12 to 15 year olds using cardio-vascular equipment in the gym are free of charge for Compass Card holders. Sessions run Monday to Friday 3.15 to 4.30pm (1st session) and 4.30 to 5.45pm (2nd session). Weekend sessions run from 12 to 1.30pm (1st session) and 2 to 3.30pm (2nd session). During the school holidays the times will alter, so check with the venue before your visit.
Gym – after £16.25 induction, gym use is free for 12 to 24 year-olds.

How?
You need to ‘phone the number above to book all classes and gym sessions. Mention the Compass Card when you book to obtain the offer. Junior Health & Fitness and gym – book and pay for induction in advance – either in person or over the ‘phone – and make it clear the booking’s for a Compass Card holder. There’s a form to fill out beforehand; it covers things like health and safety and a parent carer needs to sign it if the card holder is under 16. Afterwards, just show the card at the pay desk when you visit. Memberships will need to renewed every two years.
