What?
Adaptive Boxing has been designed to remove barriers and provide people of all abilities with access to safe, inclusive, and high-quality boxing training. The programme aims to increase accessibility, inclusion, and diversity within the sport, creating opportunities for people with disabilities and additional needs to participate in boxing in a supportive environment. Sessions are delivered by qualified boxing coaches with specialist training and experience in Adaptive Boxing and supporting participants with a wide range of disabilities and individual needs. Coaches combine recognised coaching qualifications with practical experience to ensure sessions are safe, enjoyable, and tailored to each participant. One-to-one Adaptive Boxing sessions are available for participants aged 10 and over. Wheelchair users who meet the Adaptive Boxing sports classification criteria also have the opportunity to follow a structured pathway towards training and competition. For updates and more information, search @adaptive_boxing on X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
