Renaissance Group Sponsors The Story Trail

Amaze, your local charity supporting families with disabled children, has begun partnering with local businesses to bring The Story Trail to life. Between September and November 2026, people throughout the city will see BookBenches, each featuring its own unique design.

Both Renaissance Group (comprising Renaissance Legal, Renaissance Trust and Renaissance Financial) and Amaze are committed to the community. Sponsoring The Story Trail is a wonderful way of showing it. An artist designs each BookBench, and then they are sponsored by a local business. The plaques feature the sponsor’s logo, so it can be a great way to increase profile in the city.

Renaissance Group is a group of businesses specialising in supporting families and carers of disabled people, with financial planning, trust management and legal advice. They have decided to sponsor a BookBench for The Story Trail. We’ve spoken with Philip Warford (Renaissance Legal), Scott Clayton (Renaissance Trust) and Francis Jarman (Renaissance Financial), the Directors at their respective companies to get an insight on their choice to sponsor.

About Renaissance Group

Renaissance Group have spent years collaborating with and supporting Amaze. Both organisations share a similar goal of helping the community. Philip (Renaissance Legal) says: “Renaissance Legal specialises in working with families and carers of disabled and vulnerable individuals, helping them plan effectively for the future with Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and Inheritance Tax Planning.

Collaboration with Amaze is an easy way to show the community that your business cares. Scott (Renaissance Trust) says: “Renaissance Legal’s pro bono support and shared community values [with Amaze] have always resonated with us, and sponsoring this trail means Renaissance Trust can build on that connection in a meaningful, visual way.” The Story Trail provides a fun, family-friendly activity for everyone to enjoy.

Renaissance Group’s sponsorship

The BookBenches provide an opportunity for people to discover both the sponsors and Amaze. Francis (Renaissance Financial) says: “Being visible on something as joyful and accessible as The Story Trail gives us the opportunity to share our values with a broader audience.” People exploring The Story Trail will be able to see the many businesses dedicated to the community alongside the beautiful artwork.

The Story Trail encourages locals and tourists alike to get outdoors and become involved with the city around them. It’s a collaborative project designed to bring the community together. Scott (Renaissance Trust) says: “My hope is that The Story Trail becomes a cherished city-wide experience, one that brings art, literacy and accessibility into public spaces, sparks community pride and supports Amaze’s mission to help families feel seen, understood and connected.

Why you should get involved

Sponsoring Amaze on The Story Trail is a fulfilling experience. You know that your contribution is going towards something that matters. Francis (Renaissance Financial) says: “Working with Amaze goes beyond sponsorship, it’s about partnering with a charity that champions inclusion, community and imagination.

The Story Trail benefits everyone: the local people, Amaze and local businesses. Philip (Renaissance Legal) says: “We hope this sponsorship helps raise the profile of Amaze’s work across the city and encourages more people to engage with their services.” Sponsoring a BookBench is a great way to help local families through raising awareness for Amaze.
