Plus Accounting Sponsors The Story Trail

Amaze, your local charity supporting families with disabled children, has begun partnering with local businesses to bring The Story Trail to life. Between September and November 2026, people throughout the city will see BookBenches, each featuring its own unique design.
Supporting the community is at the heart of everything we do at Amaze, and The Story Trail is no exception. Each BookBench is designed by an artist and sponsored by a local business. The BookBench is then brought to life and displayed for the community to enjoy. The plaques feature the sponsor’s logo, so it can be a great way to increase profile in the city.
One of the local businesses that are sponsoring The Story Trail is accountancy and advisory firm Plus Accounting. We’ve spoken with Victoria King, the Marketing Service Director to find out what it’s like to sponsor a BookBench.
About Plus Accounting
Plus Accounting is a local firm that supports individuals and businesses “at every stage of their journey.” It’s easy to see why they would want to sponsor something so intertwined with the community. “We work closely with our clients to help them grow sustainably, make confident decisions, and understand the bigger picture – always with people at the heart of what we do.”
Plus Accounting has taken part in previous art trails in Brighton, so it was no surprise that they were eager to work on The Story Trail. Victoria says: “Being part of something that brings creativity into the city, invites people to explore, and supports a local charity like Amaze is a huge privilege.” The Story trail brings families and friends together to enjoy a fun, uplifting experience together.
Why they chose to sponsor
Sponsoring a BookBench is about more than just bringing awareness to the company: “It’s about giving something back to the city, raising awareness for Amaze, and being part of a shared experience that brings people together.”
Sponsorship is a great way to show locals your business cares about the community. Victoria says: “We hope people see Plus Accounting as a business that genuinely cares about its community and wants to play an active role in supporting it.” Without help from sponsors like Plus Accounting, events like The Story Trail wouldn’t be possible.
Why you should sponsor The Story Trail
Sponsoring a BookBench benefits everyone involved—the sponsor, Amaze and the community. For some businesses, it’s a no-brainer: “Supporting Amaze felt like a natural fit, without charities like this and the work they do, our community simply wouldn’t be what it is.” Businesses who support Amaze ensure we can continue supporting families.
Working with Amaze on The Story is more than just business partnership—it’s an “incredibly rewarding” way to know that your contribution is making a difference in the community. “They’re passionate, collaborative, and deeply rooted in the community they support. You know that the time, energy, and support they all have is making a real difference to families across the city and beyond.” Making a difference in the community may seem like a massive feat, but it can be as simple as sponsoring a BookBench.
