FREE Compass Card skateboarding activity session
Join the Healthy Lifestyles and Compass Card teams in a small group coaching session. Skateboarding is a great way to get active, boost your mood, build confidence, and express yourself. Friendly and qualified coaches will teach Compass Card holders how to ride a skateboard, along with developing some basic moves. You don’t need any previous skateboarding skills to come along and try it out.
Date: Monday 23 October
Venue: King Alfred Leisure Centre, Hove
Times:
11.30 – 12.30: 7-12 year olds
12.45 – 1.45: 13-25 year olds

Important things to note:
- All participants must wear a helmet and pads are recommended. These will be provided. A parent carer must stay with the Compass Card holder throughout the session but will not be able to participate. Registration and waiver forms must be completed before the day. The Compass team will send the waiver form to you when you book. Flat soled trainers are preferable for skateboarding. No open toes, Crocs or heeled shoes. Make sure you were appropriate clothing.
- The Compass Card holder must be able to understand basic instruction, either from the Healthy Lifestyle coach or their parent carer, to participate.
- Light refreshments will be provided.
