What?
Worthing Ice Rink is an undercover rink offering seasonal ice-skating sessions, children’s skating courses and private lessons. The minimum skating age is four and the smallest skates are child’s size eight. Safety helmets are available free of charge on request and children under the age of eight years must be accompanied on the ice by an adult. Penguin skating aids can hired at a cost of £5, although please note there is a height limit of 120cm for use of the penguins. Sessions will run from 1.45 to 9pm Monday to Friday during term time and from 10am to 9pm during weekends and school holidays. The café will be open daily offering hot drinks and snacks.
General provision: One carer goes free with card holder at public ice-skating sessions.
Compass Card offer: The Compass Card can be used to trigger the general provision above. Accessibility: Accessible temporary building and portaloo. Manual and electric wheelchairs with manual override are allowed on the ice and there’s a temporary ramp to access the rink (call to discuss if you’re part of a large group). There’s street parking nearby and the nearest car park is Guildbourne Shopping Centre. The Worthing Dome Changing Places facility is a couple of minutes’ walk away.
