Let Sea Life Brighton, the world’s oldest aquarium, take you on a fascinating journey from the coastline to the depths of the ocean. A new £2.7 million display Day & Night, which opened in May 2019, offers visitors the chance to experience the magic of the ocean over a 24 hour period. With 5,500 creatures all under one roof there is something for everyone to see!
Compass Card offer: Compass Card holders pay the standard rate at Sea Life Brighton (great saver discounts can also be found here if booked 24 hours before the visit) and one accompanying carer goes free. Under 2s also go free.
Accessibility: You can avoid the steps to the venue by using the tunnel off the beach close to the Brighton ZIP Line. Follow the signs from the top of the entrance steps. Accessible toilet in the venue. The auditorium doesn’t have full access, but all auditorium talks are played in the accessible tunnel below or are held in different locations around the centre. There are also some restrictions in the Victorian Arcade. The Sealife Centre is within 1km of the hoist assisted changing facility (Changing Places) at Colonnade Public Toilets on Madeira Drive, Brighton BN2 1EN.
How?
All tickets to Sea Life need to be booked in advance here. Add your free carer ticket and take the Compass Card with you on the day to validate the discount.
