What?

Explore 800 years of priory history at Michelham: from its foundation by Augustinian canons, through to the destruction caused by the dissolution of the monasteries in Tudor times and its later life as a country house. There are lots of hands-on activities, as well as dressing up, an interactive medieval gallery in the 14th Century gatehouse, an interactive Tudor kitchen, children’s play area, café and special events throughout the year. Unless agreed in advance, under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
General provision: One carer is admitted free of charge for all visitors with special educational needs and disabilities.
