What?

Butser Ancient Farm is a unique experimental archaeology site nestled into the rolling countryside of the South Downs National Park, featuring archaeological reconstructions of ancient buildings from the Stone Age, Iron Age, Roman Britain and the Anglo-Saxon period. There are rare breeds of animals, such as goats and sheep on the farm as well as fun family trails, and ancient skills demonstrations. There is a visitor centre where you can buy hot and cold drinks, light snacks, cakes and locally produced fudge, as well as an on-site gift shop.
General provision: Free entry for one carer accompanying a person with special educational needs or disabilities. 
Compass Card offer:  The Compass Card triggers the general provision above.
Accessibility: Accessible visitor centre, parking and toilets. The farm is an open field with a mixture of grass and gravel paths.
