Carers’ Card offer: Carers’ Card holders over 18 who are not studying benefit from Student fare prices on all Keycard purchases (Student fares cut standard prices by around a third). NB. See separate listing for City Sightseeing Tours.
How?
You’ll need to apply for your Keycard by going to head office in Hove or the 1 Stop Travel office in Brighton (see above for details). You’ll be asked to show the Carers’ Card, plus your Birth Certificate, passport or driving license. Additionally, you’ll need an email address and to provide evidence of your current address. Your photo can be taken on the spot (or you can supply your own passport-sized photo) and the discounted travel account will be activated. Afterwards, you’ll be able to load up the Keycard online at www.smartbuses.co.uk or by visiting head office or 1 Stop Travel. The Keycard discount will expire at the same time as the Carers’ Card and you’ll need to reapply once you have your new Carers’ Card.
