Event volunteer – Abseil
Could you help out at our Abseil fundraising event? We’re looking for volunteers and we’d love to hear from you.
Amaze is a charity that gives information, advice and support to families with disabled children and young people in Sussex. We also support young people with additional needs up to 25.
We are looking for volunteers at our Peacehaven Abseil on Saturday 21st June to support our fundraising and marketing team. Your role will be to help people taking part in the event and raise money for Amaze.
You could be:
- checking in people who are taking part in the event
- helping provide refreshments
- stewarding participants and friends and family to keep them safe
- assisting the abseil team with fitting and removing harnesses
When
This is a one-off volunteering opportunity on Saturday 21st June. Volunteers would need to be available from 9am – 4pm.
Skills and experience
No real skills and experience are required, you just need to be:
- Reliable
- Willing to talk to members of the public
Benefits
Supporting at our abseil is a great way to help a local charity raise more awareness and money so that we can help families with disabled children and young people across Sussex. You will also learn new things and take part in different activities. It is also a good chance to meet new people.
Availability
This is a one-off volunteering opportunity on Saturday 21st June. Volunteers would need to be available from 9am – 4pm.
