Sahara Desert Trek
The distance of the Sahara Desert Trek is 36-48KM over 6 days. You will watch the sunrise over the desert, a once in a lifetime experience.
You will also summit the Chigaga Dunes, the largest dunes in the Sahara Desert. Explore the lively city of Marrakech before returning to the UK.
The trek is suitable for all abilities with the correct training. The minimum age for this trek is 18 years old (anyone aged between 14 – 17 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Once you have registered a kit list will be provided. You should provide your own broken in trekking boots and possibly trekking poles, you do not need any specialist kit.
At the finish line you will receive a well-deserved high-quality metal medal, finisher’s gift and refreshing drink!
The trek is organised by Global Adventure Challenges so there will be people raising funds for different charities at the event.

When does the event take place?
The trek takes place on the 4th- 9th November 2026 in Morocco.
