Online Mindfulness Workshop for Parent Carers

Free Zoom workshop for parent carers in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

 

Join the Parent Groups & Befriending service, along with Teresa Gane, Mindfulness Coach and Trainer and parent carer, for an online mindfulness workshop.

 

This one-off session aims to give you the opportunity to nurture your own wellbeing and learn, along with other parent carers, a couple of practices that can help decrease stress and anxiety in the moment and help you notice and step into enjoyable everyday moments. You’ll have the opportunity to connect and share with others and perhaps find some moments of calm. It will be invitational to speak in the larger group so please come as you are as it’s a time for you to “be” – there are no expectations of you.

 

Teresa has been running mindfulness courses for over 12 years and provides a supportive, gentle and kind space for parent carers to come together to learn mindfulness practices. If you are having thoughts or feelings related to stress, anxiety, chronic pain or low mood, mindfulness practice can enable you to start seeing these in a different light, cultivating curiosity, openness and kindness.

 

This session will be held on Zoom and starts at 12pm, although we welcome you to join 10 minutes before the start time with a cup of tea, just to be able to sit and drink your cuppa without having to do anything else as a way of easing into the session.
