FREE Family Fun Day from Amaze Parent Groups & Befriending and Compass Card

11am – 3pm on Weds 27 August

at Portslade Village Centre, 3 Courthope Close, Portslade, Brighton BN41 2LZ

The day will run from 11am to 3pm at the Portslade Village Centre and as well as some timetabled activities, there will be lots of fun, engaging activities for all ages. Meet and have your photo taken with Peppa Pig, watch in awe as Tony from ‘It’s Magic Time’ performs close up magic, take part in some fun games with our Amazing Futures team and let’s not forget the parent carers; Zen Essence will be on hand to offer FREE hand massages.

In case you want to come along for a specific activity, here is the timetable:

  • 11.15am – 12.15pm – World of Wheels, perfect for children and young people who love anything wheely. Offering the ultimate car-lovers playground, including Hot Wheels City, Hot Wheels Raceways, Glow Tracks, and Ride ons. Ideal for younger children.
  • 12.30 – 1pm – Music with Mike, fun interactive singing and music fun.
  • 1.15 – 2pm – It’s Magic Time with Tony Charles, watch in wonder as Tony performs super fun magic tricks.
  • 2.15 – 3pm – Animazing, your opportunity to get up close with a host of animals including snakes, toads, hedgehogs and more.

The Amaze fundraising team will be on hand to tell you all about the latest fundraising challenges that you can get involved with. And make sure you bring your pocket money along as there will be a fidget toy lucky dip and a raffle too.

Free parking is available in the on-site car park and in the surrounding roads. There is hoist assisted, accessible changing available and the building is fully accessible.

Please note, parent carers are responsible for their children and young people at all times.
