If you want to make a claim for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for a child or young person, Amaze can offer you advice and sometimes practical support, depending on your circumstances and where you live.
Live in East Sussex?
Sadly, Amaze can no longer offer individual support with claiming DLA or PIP to parent carers or young people in East Sussex. This is because we are no longer funded to do this work in East Sussex. You can still attend our free workshops or access any of our fact sheets and or online information around disability benefits, but we can no longer offer individual help with any claims. You may be able to get some additional support with DLA or PIP claims from Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC), Citizens Advice or from national charity, Contact.

One to one support with a claim for DLA or PIP
If you live in Brighton & Hove we may be able to offer you more individual help with a DLA or PIP claim. We can take a detailed pen picture of your child’s needs, then send you resources that closely match your child’s profile.
We can also provide one to one support with claiming DLA or PIP in Brighton & Hove to disabled young people or to parent carers with disabilities, health needs, literacy difficulties or English as a second language.
Sadly, we can no longer offer this enhanced service to families in East Sussex as we are no longer funded to do this work.
