Amaze’s Awesome Art Exhibition

We are thrilled to announce ‘Amaze’s Awesome Art’ – a FREE exhibition, open to the public for viewing Friday 1 December – Sunday 3 December, at Phoenix Art Space, Brighton BN2 9NB.

This exhibition is curated by young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to showcase their art and highlight the Amazing Futures service that has supported them.

Amazing Futures run art workshops as part of their activity programme for young people with SEND. The art on display will come from young people currently using Amazing Futures, as well as those that used the service in the past and there will be around 30 young people’s artwork exhibited.

Sue Winter (Young People’s Amazing Futures Project Co-ordinator for Brighton) says:

It’s fantastic to be able to show these talented young artists work in a proper gallery setting – which is a first for Amazing Futures.

Alongside this, we are launching an online auction to fundraise for Amaze. Some of the art from the exhibition will be available to bid on. You will also find lots of pieces kindly donated by local artists, a great chance to own something beautiful for your home, whilst raising vital funds for Amaze! Look out on social media for more information on the auction when it launches in December.
