AmazeXtra weekly SEND club and holiday scheme

AmazeXtra is a weekly club and holiday scheme for young people aged 14-25 with special educational needs and disabilities in Brighton & Hove. AmazeXtra is suitable for young people with complex needs who require more specialised support, though these places are limited.

We can support young people who are non-speaking or whose communication is limited. We can support young people who need help with personal care, peg feeding and administration of medication, for example.

Our AmazeXtra club runs weekly from 4pm to 7pm during term time at Portslade Village Centre, Windlesham Close, Portslade BN41 2LY. Our last session will be Wednesday 26 March 2025 and we are not taking on any new participants before then. 

The club costs £12 per session.

We are looking at ways to make our other Amazing Futures groups more accessible to young people with higher support needs. If you would like to find out more , please email [email protected].

In the Easter and school summer holidays 2024 we ran the AmazeXtra short breaks holiday scheme for young people with SEND at Portslade Village Centre. This scheme is funded by Brighton & Hove City Council Short Breaks.

We expect to run an Easter and summer holiday scheme for 2025 and will update this page by the end of February with more details.
