Amaze is a Sussex based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We are currently providing a wide range of services and projects in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex, to 3,500 families, that are funded by about 20 key funding streams/partnerships.

We have an ambitious organisational strategy underpinned by a new fundraising plan. You will play a key role in implementing this plan, testing new ways of raising funds, to ensure we can continue to grow and diversify income opportunities, so that we can support more vulnerable families who need our help.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive, flexible, driven, and organised person to join our fundraising and marketing team. You will help grow our supporter base, including increasing corporate giving, and take primary responsibility for fundraising from trusts and foundations.

You will be a skilled fundraiser, or have transferable skills, with good marketing knowledge. You will be an excellent, persuasive communicator and have had demonstrable success at engaging people to a cause and motivating giving.

We are committed to supporting and promoting equality and diversity and to creating an inclusive working environment. We believe having a diverse workforce at all levels allows us to represent the communities we serve.

  • We want to employ staff who have lived experience of disability themselves and/or as a parent/carer of a child, young person or adult with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), and have an excellent understanding of the issues faced by SEND families
  • We particularly welcome applicants from Black Asian and minoritised ethnic communities.
