Amaze seeks Head of Fundraising and Marketing

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, flexible, driven, and organised person to lead our growing fundraising and marketing team, helping us to deliver on our ambitious organisational strategy and reach more families who need our support. 

Head of Fundraising and Marketing 

  • Equivalent NJC 31-38, £37,261 – £44,539 pro rata according to experience. 
  •  Amaze hourly rate £20.47 – £24.47 (based on 35 hours week) 
  • Hours of work: 28 – 35 per week, fixed-term for 2 years, with likelihood of extension subject to funding 
  • + 5% pension, pro-rata 26 days a year, + extra 3 days at Christmas + Public Holidays.

Amaze is a Sussex based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).  We are currently providing a wide range of services and projects in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex, to 3,500 families, that are funded by about 20 key funding streams/partnerships.  

Using your experience, you will have the chance to produce creative and high impact fundraising approaches, connect with and grow our supporter base, and deliver meaningful results.  The key outcomes of this role will include the leadership and management of a fundraising strategy and plan to support the sustainable growth of the organisation as part of the leadership team. 

You will be a skilled fundraiser, with good marketing knowledge. You will be an excellent, persuasive communicator and have had demonstrable success at engaging people to a cause and motivating giving.
