Getting support for my child in school (SEN)

FREE Zoom workshop about special educational needs (SEN) support for your child in school or college

Does your child have special educational needs (SEN)? Are you worried about their progress in school?

Most children with SEN should get the support they need in school without an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) but what are they entitled to? How can you ask for support? How will you know if it’s enough?

This FREE Zoom workshop will give you information about ‘SEN Support’ for your child.

This is aimed at parents whose child or young person does NOT have an EHCP

How to book

The workshop is free, but you need to book through Eventbrite.

You can contact [email protected] or 01273 772289 if you would like to find out more.

We will send you a Zoom link in an email before the workshop.

Please note: This online workshop is for parent carers who have a child or young person who has special educational needs or disabilities. You must live in East Sussex or Brighton & Hove or your child/young person with SEND must live, or be in education, in one of those areas.

West Sussex parents are served by the West Sussex SENDIAS Service and Reaching Families who offer similar events and impartial advice tailored to the area.

If you are from another area, you will find similar support services locally to you by searching SENDIAS and your area.

Please make sure you have updated Zoom to access the session.
