FREE Zoom workshop about the First-tier Tribunal (the “SEND Tribunal”)

For appeals relating to an EHC needs assessment or an EHC plan.

An Amaze SENDIASS workshop for parent carers in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. Esther will share her expertise on the Working Document preparation and negotiations for parent carers doing their own appeals to the First-tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability).

The workshop will cover:

This workshop will be recorded but will not record attendees. There will be opportunities to ask general questions but there is not time for consultation on individual cases. If you have questions following the workshop you can contact Amaze SENDIASS.

Please note: This online workshop is for parent carers who have a child or young person who has special educational needs or disabilities. You must live in East Sussex or Brighton & Hove or your child/young person with SEND must live, or be in education, in one of those areas.

West Sussex parents are served by the West Sussex SENDIAS Service and Reaching Families who offer similar events and impartial advice tailored to the area.

If you are from another area, you will find similar support services locally to you by searching SENDIAS and your area.

The workshop is intended for parent carers who are representing themselves at the tribunal. A link to a recording of the session will be available on the Amaze website.
