Does my child need an EHCP? How can I get one?

FREE Zoom workshop about the Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessment process

Some children and young people with special educational needs require more than the support usually available in their school or other setting. They may need an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This workshop will explain how to request an assessment and what happens during the 20 weeks which may lead to an EHCP being issued.

How to book

The workshop is free, but you need to book through Eventbrite.

You can contact [email protected] or 01273 772289 if you would like to find out more.

We will send you a Zoom link in an email before the workshop.

Please note: This online workshop is for parent carers who have a child or young person who has special educational needs or disabilities. You must live in East Sussex or Brighton & Hove or your child/young person with SEND must live, or be in education, in one of those areas.

West Sussex parents are served by the West Sussex SENDIAS Service and Reaching Families who offer similar events and impartial advice tailored to the area.

If you are from another area, you will find similar support services locally to you by searching SENDIAS and your area.
