 Talking about relationships and sexuality with your young person who has S
 END and/or a learning disability can feel daunting. Where do you even begi
 n? How do you communicate about private topics when language and understan
 ding may be limited? What does consent really mean\, and how does the Ment
 al Capacity Act (MCA) apply?\nThis webinar will help parent carers find a 
 starting point. We’ll look at:\n\n 	How to begin conversations about rel
 ationships and sexuality in a safe and positive way\n 	Communicating about
  feelings and private topics with limited language or understanding\n 	Use
 ful resources\, guides\, and support networks for families\n 	Understandin
 g consent and how the Mental Capacity Act relates to intimate relationship
 s\n\nOur aim is to give parent carers confidence\, practical ideas\, and t
 ools to help their young people build safe and meaningful relationships.\n
