Flu vaccine zoom workshop for young people with SEND [Brighton]

Young people with SEND aged 14+ and their parents are invited to Amaze’s free online workshop about the flu vaccine, and annual health checks.

In the workshop we will talk about what the flu vaccine is, and why it’s important to have it. We will also be talking about annual health checks for people with a learning disability.

You can watch a short video here about why it’s important for people with learning disabilities and autism to get the flu vaccine.

This workshop is provided by Amazing Futures in partnership with Brighton & Hove Speak Out and their Thumbs Up to Good Health campaign. This is a campaign to help people with learning disabilities learn about their right to an annual health check.

This free workshop is for young people aged 14 to 25 with additional needs, living in Brighton & Hove, and their parent carers.
