East Sussex Triple P discussion group "Fighting, rules and cooperation"
East Sussex parent carers of children aged 12 or under with autism, ADHD or other additional needs may be interested in this free upcoming discussion group from East Sussex County Council.
This Triple P “Stepping Stones” group topic looks at some of the reasons why children fight.
The group will aim to give parent carers skills to teach their children to play cooperatively and get along with others, as well as exploring how to teach skills such as sharing, communicating and being gentle, and what to do when fighting does occur.
You are welcome whether your child has received a diagnosis or not.
See the Council’s poster for further information [pdf 122kb]
In addition to this discussion group, there is another discussion group planned on “Behaviours, boundaries and rewards”.
