Community Wardrobe – coats and uniforms for kids
Community Wardrobe is an event where you can swap or collect good quality recycled coats and uniforms for your children.
The clothing is free to those in need, although they do request a small donation if you can afford it. Donations are used to buy items like shoes that are not available to swap or collect.
The event is part of the Coats and Uniforms for Kids project, which runs Community Wardrobe events once a term. However, if you have an urgent need they are sometimes able to help out at other times, and invite you to get in touch.
You can donate good quality coats and uniforms at any Brighton and Hove library except Withdrean and Hollingdean, and at One Church in Gloucester Place. They can also arrange for collections if you are unable to drop off at one of these venues.
If you would like to support the project but have no coats or uniforms to donate, they also accept monetary donations.
