Amazing Futures – free peer support sessions for young people

Event info:

Teenage girl and boy

Amaze’s Amazing Futures project runs free peer support sessions for young people with SEND on a monthly basis.
We’ve trained a team of young people (18+) with and without SEND to be volunteer peer supporters for other young people with additional needs aged 14-25.

The group sessions have fun games and activities, and are an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and have fun. Over time, young people can be matched up with a volunteer for one-to-one peer support as well, if they’re interested.
There are also sessions just for girls and young women aged 14-25 with SEND. See our Events listing to find out more about these sessions.
How to book
Contact Sue Winter on 07483 111648 or email sue@amazebrighton.org.uk if you are interested in coming to the next session or would like to volunteer as a peer supporter.
Alternatively, you can call the helpline on 01273 772289.
Places are free, but booking is essential, as places are limited.
