Amazing Futures group for young women and non-binary people [Brighton]
Amaze’s Amazing Futures project runs free peer support activity sessions for young women and non-binary people with SEND on a monthly basis in Brighton & Hove.
We’ve trained a team of young people (18+) with and without SEND to be volunteer peer supporters for other young people with additional needs aged 14-25.
The group sessions have fun games and activities, and are an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and have fun. Over time, young people can be matched up with a volunteer for one-to-one peer support as well, if they’re interested.
Please note, this month we are meeting in the Young People’s Centre, not Community Base.
We offer a variety of other groups and activities for young people aged 14-25 with SEND in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. See our Events listing to find an upcoming session.
