Amazing Futures Brighton – free peer support activity sessions for young people
Amaze’s Amazing Futures project runs free peer support sessions for young people with SEND on a monthly basis in Brighton & Hove.
In this week’s session, we’ll have our internship candidates in the group to give a presentation which is part of their interview. You’ll get your chance to have a say on who you think will best suit the role.
We’ve trained a team of young people (18+) with and without SEND to be volunteer peer supporters for other young people with additional needs aged 14-25.
They won’t try to tell you what to do, just listen and support you to find your own solutions to your problems.
The group sessions have fun games and activities, and are an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and have fun.
There are also sessions just for young women and non-binary people aged 14-25 with SEND in Brighton & Hove, and a mixed gender group in East Sussex.
How to book
