Lockdown – what’s happening to education, employment and training for young people?

Many young people are worrying about how the Covid-19 lockdown will affect their education, employment and training. Lots of parent carers are too! Here at Amaze we believe that it is vital for young people’s wellbeing that you continue to think about the future and to make plans for the end of lockdown.

The Amaze Looking Forward team has put together a useful guide which will answer some of the questions you have.

Amaze also offers a confidential Helpline for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their parent carers. If you need to discuss anything about your education, health or care then please contact SENDIASS (the SEND Information, Advice and Support Service).

Be nice to yourself, do something fun, plan for the future, work as hard as you can and stay in touch with other people.
