Amaze seeks Compass Administrator

21-25 hours per week (flexible depending on availability)

Salary: NJC Scale Point 20-23 (£19,430 – £21,693 pro rata)

Fixed term contract 1 year, with the likelihood of extension

Amaze manages the statutory disability registers for Brighton & Hove City Council (Compass Brighton and Hove) and West Sussex County Council (Compass West Sussex) and offers all children and young people on those registers (aged 0-25) a free leisure incentive card, the Compass Card.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to support the Compass service in Amaze, including maintaining systems for families to register their disabled children or young people on our database, data entry of applications/renewals and handling membership enquiries. You will also assist with the distribution of information to service users and other administrative tasks.

The post is based in the Amaze office in central Brighton, with occasional travel to Sussex.

You will need to have experience of data entry and database systems and be well-organised, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also have an understanding of the issues faced by children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families.
